In this video, I show you how I apply the Aphogee Two Step Protein Treatment which is designed for those experiencing breakage. I thought I’d do a step by step guide for those wanting to try it, but not sure exactly how to go about the process.

This product is designed to;

Stop hair breakage

Rebuild hair structure for six weeks

Ideal for color treated, relaxed or permed hair.

Now I decided to use this treatment to help rebuild and strengthen my hair after having it relaxed the week before. I normally use the ORS Replenishing conditioner, but decided to give this product a try for once.

The product states that you must use the following products, in the following order;

· Aphogee Shampoo for dry and damaged hair

· Aphogee Two Step protein treatment

· Aphogee Balancing moisturizer.

However, I decided to use products from a different product range, so I did it in the following order;

· SofnFree Nothing But Clarifying Shampoo

· Aphogee Two Step Protein Treatment

· Cantu Butter Leave in Conditioning Cream.

I then allowed my hair to semi air dry, before applying my Cantu Butter Creamy Lotion. However, if you are new to this process, then I would say to stick with the products recommended for this treatment.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that this treatment states that you do not need to cover your hair when going under the dryer, however, it doesn’t state how long you should go under the dryer for with the treatment on your hair, so I always just do it for 10 mins. BE WARNED it makes the hair ROCK HARD, so ensure that you DO NOT manipulate, comb or play with your hair during this time.
